KYLE RANCH
Exotics
BARASINGHA Native of India these magnificent deer are listed as an endangered species. There are more Barasingha on game ranches in the US than remain in their native county of India. They are a secretive, yet docile and slow moving animal that stays mostly in heavy cover. Kyle Wildlife has a "cull & take permit" - from the US Fish & Wildlife Service - necessary for interstate transport of any part of this animal (including shed antlers).
ADDAX ANTELOPE
Native of the Sahara Desert they have adapted well to the Texas Hill Country. It is undetermined how many remain in their native habitat, but it is known that there are very few. Due to their excellent adaptation to the Texas Hill Country the species is thriving. Their unusual coloring - summer almost white & winter beige with darker faces is very distinctive.
FALLOW DEER
This palmate antler species originates in Europe. This is the only cervidae that has palmate antlers other then the North American Moose. Fallow are one of the species successful raised on game ranching and harvested for their velvet and venison to be sold commercially. They are seen as White, Dark Brown (Black), Spot (much like an Axis).
BLACKBUCK ANTELOPE Native of India these small beautiful animals have adapted so well to the Hill Country of Texas that they are almost "free range". So limited in number in their native country that they have been shipped back to India from game ranches in Texas in attempts to increase the herds in their native land.
Corsican, Black Hawaiian, Texas Dall and Mouflon Rams, as well as Catalina goats are often available.
