Addax Antelope

ADDAX ANTELOPE

Native of the Sahara Desert they have adapted well to the Texas Hill Country. It is undetermined how many remain in their native habitat, but it is known that there are very few. Due to their excellent adaptation to the Texas Hill Country the species is thriving.  Kyle Ranch proudly boasts one of the largest addax herds in the U.S.  Their unusual coloring – summer almost white & winter beige with darker faces is very distinctive.  As a horned animal, they are available for hunting year-round.

**Effective April 4, 2012 a permit from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will be required to hunt, transport, buy, sell etc. these animals. We have applied for the permits.  If interested in these animals, please contact us as to the status of the permits.
