While almost extinct in their native habitat, their numbers on U.S. game ranches are quite strong.  This species has adapted well to the Texas Hill country as well as other locations in the United States.  As a horned animal, hunts are available year-round.

**Effective April 4, 2012 a permit from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service will be required to hunt, transport, buy, sell etc. these animals. We have applied for the permits.  If interested in these animals, please contact us as to the status of the permits.
