Trans Caspian Urial

Native of Northern India and Iran, these striking sheep are distinguished by the mature males having not only impressive curling horns, but a snow white bib.  The bib is especially evident during the “rut” in the fall.  This species has adapted well to the Texas Hill country, preferring the most rugged terrain.  While the males are most impressive in the fall, as a horned animal they are available year-round.
