Special Hunt Notice
We have a few “cull” hunts available for the 2011 season. All hunts are on a first come – first served basis. There are a limited number of each animal. A deposit of $200.00, nonrefundable, but applicable to the hunt fee is required to “hold” your date and animal. In all cases, these are animals that are not or will never be trophy quality.
For the most part these hunts can be accomplished in one day and in some cases 1/2 day.
The prices listed below are for the animal only. In addition to the cost of the animal, there is a $150.00 per day guide fee (no 1/2 day guide fees are available) and $35.00 per night per person lodging if you wish to spend the night at the ranch.
We are usually able to get bow, handgun and muzzleloader as well as rifle distances for these animals.
Scimitar Horned Oryx (Trophy price is $3000.00)
- $1200.00 – Single – One horn is broken so there is only a small stud. The other horn may or may not be broken.
- $1800.00 – Broken – One or both horns are broken so that they will never reach trophy quality.
- $500.00 – Females
- $800.00 – Non-trophy quality red or white males.
- $800.00 – Non-trophy quality.
- $800.00 and up to $1500.00 – The price is dependent upon the degree of non-trophy. An example of the $800.00 would be lacking both caudal tines or no brow tines. An example of the $1500.00 would be both caudal tines too small or brow tines too small.
